502- LEAVES OF ABSENCE GENERALLY
It is the policy of the Company to abide by every law and regulation that protects an employee’s time away from work. There are many federal, state, and local leave provisions – more than can be accurately represented in this policy. Employees that find they have a need for time away from work must contact their DPI Supervisor and/or the HROC dept to discuss the applicable leaves that may apply to their situation.
The Assistance Form is another easy way to send an inquiry to the HROC dept.
Below are links to a summary of the various laws in the states that DPI has offices, as well as the federal laws. In all instances DPI will follow the state or local laws to the extent they are more generous than the federal regulations.
